Bands for the 9th Annual Flathead Lake Blues Festival

We’ve got some fantastic music lined up for you!  Friday will showcase many of Western Montana’s talent, from Whitefish to Missoula including singer, songwriter and comedian Jordan Albert as this year’s Friday night opener. This is going to be the first time that The Kelly Brothers, Steve and John Kelly, brothers from different mothers, will be playing together. It is a menagerie of Montana talent. History will be made with this legendary performance coming out of the Flathead Region. From Missoula, we have Money Penny, an award winning Blues/Rock quartet, providing a high energy, often funky, authentic Blues experience. The freshest headliners from Missoula will be Ocelot Wizard, the hot recording artists who combine several band styles into a hybrid chimera of music and talent. Catch all of these acts while you can still afford them, before they go national or universal!

The Saturday show is going to have a diverse and multi-style line up including the smokey smooth jazz and blues Blue Moon band; the rocking sounds of The Bobbie Patterson Band; The Zach Cooper Band from Coeur D’alene will entertain with originals and some sing-along favorites;the gritty raw blues of The Michelle Taylor Band; and the award winning The Stacey Jones Band will finish off the night.

It will never be a dull moment with all these super stars. You will never want to miss a minute! Several International Blues Challenge competitors, semi-finalists, finalists and winners are performing this year. These outstanding musicians have also won numerous regional and national awards. It’s going to be a great festival!
